Ladies and Gentlemen…Danger Baby

This is Danger Baby. I don’t really have to explain the name, do I?

  1. Lol! He’ll probabaly be a superhero when he grows up. 🙂

    • Superhero. Stuntman. Arial skier? One thing’s for sure…this kid is going to give me gray hair.

  2. Maisey – his female equivalent is living right under my roof! Stunts like that were the exact reason why we moved miss two into a bed in January and then, I enrolled her in gymnastics classes…

PS – I already have grey hairs – she started giving them to me the moment I found out I was preggers with her. That should’ve been warning enough.

  3. Crikey! I can’t watch. Don’t know how you do it, Maisey. I’d be wearing a pacemaker by now. Stuntman, definitely!

    • about 20mos old here…this is the child that escaped once. Oh my. That aged me.

Maya, oddly, I’ve gotten used to it. He calculates what he does and for the most part he doesn’t get hurt because he ‘knows’ what he’s doing. Also, my oldest had those tendencies, although not as bad, so, it’s not a totally new experience.

The escaping though…that almost killed me.

  4. NEVER, NEVER allow your danger baby to meet my 5yo. It would be a danger to everyone’s health.

When you said he mostly knows what he’s doing and doesn’t get hurt when he does stunts like that, it is *so* my son. Does the wildest things, but never hurts himself. What he does on the trampoline in the back garden gives me heart failure. He jumps and grabs onto the fence separating our garden from next door. Think he *thinks* he’s spiderman … or something.

Thanks so much for sharing, I now don’t feel like my son is the only one 🙂

    • No, your son isn’t the only one. I imagine that if Danger Baby (2) and Drama Baby (nearly 4) got together with your 5yo things could be scary…

  5. So funny! Even funnier that you videoed it without fliching, even when he jumped at the end – you clearly have seen this MANY times before.
Made me proper laugh, had to watch him twice as he so puts me in mind of my own danger baby. Fearless, I love him!

  6. Oh yeah. This is me going ‘Nooooo!’ every day at the sight of one of my children – usually a boy, but not every time – leaping violently from one piece of furniture to another. They even had a contest the other day about who could swing off the top of the bunk bed onto a high shelf. And this bunk bed is easily taller than me …

It seems impossible to stop them. We can only hope for skulls not to be cracked.

  7. Bless you, Jane, I know how you feel…Yeah, boys, huh?
